Despite being one of Shonen Jump‘s “Big 3,” the massively popular Naruto franchise still does not have its own dedicated LEGO set. However, a tribute to the series has now garnered enough public support to put it in the running to finally become official.
Per LEGO Ideas — a site where the company reviews builder concepts for its official product lineups — a review update has now been posted for a creation designed by user “DadiTwins.”
As shown below, the centerpiece of the set is a detailed replica of Naruto’s favorite ramen shop, Ichiraku Ramen. As the fun-loving ninja’s go-to food stand, Ichiraku frequently appears in both Masashi Kishimoto’s original Naruto manga and Studio Pierrot’s anime adaptation.
Naruto’s First Major LEGO Set Moves 1 Step Closer to Reality
Initially submitted to the platform on Nov. 7, 2024, DadiTwins’ Ichiraku Ramen set surpassed the 10k supporter milestone in September 2025. As stated in the July 2026 review update, LEGO is currently “looking into the possibility” of transforming the concept into an official set, thus promoting it to the Parking Lot stage.
Generally, sets are tabled for consideration for a total of three annual review periods. During this time, they are reviewed alongside dozens — sometimes hundreds — of other concepts and subsequently approved or rejected by the LEGO team.
In the “About” section, DadiTwins clarifies that his build is based on the version of Ichiraku Ramen that appears in Naruto‘s “Land of Waves” arc. “This beloved spot evokes memories of the series’ most emotional moments,” they wrote. “After every mission, Naruto and his teammates would gather at Ichiraku Ramen to share a meal. It was [also] here that Naruto received the encouragement from his academy teacher to embark on the Path of the Ninja, marking the beginning of an extraordinary adventure.”
The set contains a total of 1,600 pieces, the majority of which are used to recreate the exterior and interior of Ichiraku. The interior contains two separate floors, with the bottom level dedicated to the front eating area and the kitchen. The upper level features the owner’s living space, which includes a small bedroom and bathroom.
Additionally, the set comes with eight different mini-figures inspired by Ichiraku owners Akemi and Teuchi, as well as the franchise characters Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Hinata Hyuga, Kakashi Hatake and Iruka Umino.
One detail that distinguishes this set from similar builds is the ability to customize unique mini-ramen bowls for Naruto and his companions. In addition to miniature chopsticks, DadiTwins also includes a selection of small, round pieces that represent various ramen ingredients instead of pre-made bowl pieces. These iinclude boiled eggs, pork, nori seaweed, scallions, and the classic “narutomaki” fish cakes after which Naruto himself is named.
As of May 2026, over 90 different LEGO designs are currently under consideration by the official LEGO review board. However, the timing for Naruto‘s first official LEGO release could hardly be better.
The Naruto franchise recently announced casting calls for its first live-action movie adaptation, which is currently in development at Lionsgate with Destin Daniel Cretton (Spider-Man: Brand New Day) at the helm as director. With Naruto Shippuden also due to celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2027, Ichiraku Ramen is perfectly positioned to enter LEGO’s ranks as an official commemorative release for one of Shonen Jump‘s most iconic IPs.
