Several new additions will be available for gamers subscribed to PlayStation Plus this month. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is leading the pack for the more recent titles, while two PS4 classics will also be added in July.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a first-person game set in the open world of the Western Frontier of Pandora, an area left unexplored by James Cameron’s feature films. Players take control of a Na’vi character freed from confinement after 15 years. The goal is to reconnect with the Na’vi while protecting Pandora from the militaristic corporation known as the RDA. For players who missed out on the game following its initial release on PS5 in 2023, it will become available globally on July 21.
PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium July 2026 Additions
The full list of the PS5 and PS4 titles coming to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for July 2026 can be viewed below. Notably, the games will be available on varying dates in the U.S., the UK, and Japan. Some games will be made available earlier in these areas, while the complete lineup will be available to play in all other regions on July 21.

PlayStation Plus Premium Adds Two PS2 Classics
PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also be treated to a pair of classics which were originally released on PS2. One of the two is Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, which sees players utilizing psychic powers as Nick Scryer, an elite agent tasked with getting to the bottom of a shadowy conspiracy. The other is Indigo Prophecy, the first interactive drama title from Quantic Dream (Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls), a paranormal thriller involving a murder conspiracy caused by dark, supernatural forces.

These games are coming to players at a time when Sony has been enduring some heavy criticism after a recent announcement. It was revealed that physical discs for PlayStation games are planned to be phased out by the end of 2027, preparing gamers for an all-digital future on PS consoles. Adding quality titles on PS Plus might help soften the blow, though a very popular petition to rescue physical discs is rapidly growing in the meantime.
