The final chapter of the latest Avatar: The Last Airbender saga is just around the corner, and it looks absolutely incredible.
Dark Horse Comics has officially unveiled the third and final chapter of of Avatar: The Last Airbender — The Kyoshi Warriors. Slated for release on July 15, 2026, Avatar: The Last Airbender — The Kyoshi Warriors #3 will close out one of the franchise’s most harrowing tales in truly explosive fashion.
The new release is set to be the final installment of the new Kyoshi Warriors story, completing the official trilogy. Dark Horse’s official preview can be seen below.

The official solicit synopsis for Avatar: The Last Airbender — The Kyoshi Warriors #3 from Dark Horse Comics reads, “Suki and the Kyoshi Warriors are embroiled in their most difficult battle yet! With one of their members captured by the Fire Nation, they’re faced with a decision: trust their Earth Kingdom general and remain a unified front, or break free to take the battle into their own hands. Either way, life and death hang in the balance.”
The Kyoshi Warriors have long been a key fixture of the Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise, with the group introduced in their own namesake episode, “The Warriors of Kyoshi,” back in Season 1. A band of female warriors who style themselves after Avatar Kyoshi, the Kyoshi Warriors played major roles in numerous storylines, and were instrumental in helping to defeat Fire Lord Ozai’s army during the end of the Hundred-Year War.
While the Kyoshi Warriors’ story seemed to come to a close with the end of the mainline Avatar: The Last Airbender animated series, fans have had plenty of opportunities to follow along with them since. In fact, various Dark Horse Comics titles have shown the Kyoshi Warriors serving as Zuko’s personal bodyguards following his ascension to the throne of the Fire Lord after his father’s crushing defeat at the hands of Aang.
Avatar: The Last Airbender — The Kyoshi Warriors kicked off in May, bringing readers back to one of the most iconic eras of the entire franchise. The first issue of the series saw Suki and her fellow Kyoshi Warriors making their way to the mainland to join in the fight against the Fire Nation, only to be treated with suspicion and resentment from those whose paths they crossed.
