Attack on Titan fans won’t want to miss an upcoming merch drop, with Eren Yaeger and Levi Ackerman hogging the spotlight this time around. Rather than appearing in their typical outfits, however, these new Attack on Titan goods will reimagine the pair as both prisoners and prison guards, with customers able to snag items based on their preference.
Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan manga series concluded in 2021. Over the years, it won several major awards, including the Kodansha Manga Award for Best Shonen manga, the Manga Taisho for Best Manga Series, and, notably, a Harvey Award for Best American Edition of Foreign Material in 2014. The anime adaptation was produced by Wit Studio and MAPPA, concluding in 2023 after a 10-year run. The last four episodes were merged into a full-length film, Attack on Titan The Movie: The Last Attack, which was released in late 2024. Despite its story having come to an end, its popularity hasn’t waned, with new merchandise releases and crossovers continuing to be announced.
Erin and Levi of Attack on Titan Fame Look Very Different in New Animate Merch Drop
The Japanese anime specialty chain Animate has revealed a new Attack on Titan event, with the in-store campaign scheduled to run from October 3 until October 18, 2026. This new Animate Fair will feature new illustrations of Eren and Levi as both prisoners and prison guards, and fans will be able to snag everything from pins, acrylic stands, and posters, to stickers, postcards, and more. A special preorder campaign will run from July 9 to July 26 on the Animate Online Shop, and during this period, for every ¥1,100 (around $7) spent on eligible items, fans will snag one unique postcard as a bonus gift, with a total of 14 random designs available.
Despite being the main character of the Attack on Titan series, Eren has ranked quite low in recent character popularity polls, with Levi Ackerman taking the top spot in the newest survey. When asked to give a reason for their vote, fans of humanity’s strongest soldier cited his tenacity in battle, harsh wordplay, Napoleon complex, and OCD pertaining to cleanliness. Zoe Hange came in second place, followed by Erwin Smith to round out the top three.
If its stunning animation and gripping story weren’t enough to make lifelong fans, the soundtrack for the Attack on Titan anime adaptation remains a major part of its success, racking up millions of listens on music streaming services. In April, the Wild Faery company announced that the Attack on Titan symphony would be traveling to 15 cities around the world starting in October 2026, with US stops including Minneapolis, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Dallas, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. throughout 2027.
