Pokémon LEGO Reveals 5 New Sets Including Rayquaza and Red

Pokémon fans just got their first official look at the next slate of LEGO sets, and they confirm one of the year’s biggest rumors.

As seen on the official Pokémon Center online storefront, The Pokémon Company and LEGO have officially unveiled the next five Pokémon LEGO sets for 2026, including the previously rumored Rayquaza set. Surprisingly, the new LEGO Pokémon Rayquaza set is one of the smaller offerings on hand, standing right in the middle of the pack alongside some other truly iconic Pokémon.

Official images can be seen below, with all five sets currently available for pre-order and listed as shipping out on Oct. 1, 2026.

LEGO’s Next Line of Pokémon Sets Confirm Major Rumor Ahead of October 2026 Release

The smallest of the new LEGO Pokémon Sets is a 757-piece Munchlax LEGO set, which comes with a tree stump base dotted with flowers, mushrooms and apples. This pairs perfectly with the LEGO Pokémon Up-Scaled Red Minifigure, comprising 930 pieces and featuring articulated arms, legs, hands and head, along with the character’s iconic outfit and a single Poké Ball that fits neatly into either hand.

The previously rumored LEGO Pokémon Rayquaza set comes in at 1,083 pieces in total, recreating the Legendary Pokémon in all its glory. Featuring multiple points of articulation and a standing base covered in clouds, a minifigure of Draconid Trainer Zinnia and other video game decor elements, the LEGO Pokémon Rayquaza set is perfect for any collector, especially those who want to display their figures and statues as dynamically as possible.

Clocking in at 1,190 pieces is the LEGO Pokémon Arcanine set, which serves as yet another addition to the fan-favorite Collectable line of adult LEGO building sets. As with the other Collectable LEGO sets, the new Arcanine masterfully recreates its namesake Pokémon with custom pieces, while its numerous points of articulation allow for near-infinite poseability.

Last but not least is the LEGO Pokémon Poké Ball, which includes a staggering 2,386 pieces. The official product description reads, “Unlock the magic of the Pokémon Trainer journey with the Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball. This building set for adults is bursting with authentic details and cool features, including Red, Picnicker, Professor Oak, Eevee, and Pikachu minifigures to create epic Pokémon decor with classic characters.”

The product description continues, “Open the Poké Ball with easy precision to reveal a battle scene in the bottom half and a recreation of Professor Oak’s laboratory in the top section, including a library, computers, 3 moulded Poké Balls, and 2 Pokédex tiles. The display stand is designed to make the large Poké Ball model look as if it has been thrown to the ground, just like in the game.”

Fortunately for fans, new LEGO sets aren’t the only places where Pokémon finds can find Rayquaza taking center stage this year. On July 31, the next Pokémon TCG Pocket set, MEGA Expansion Pack Storm Emeralda, will be making its way to the game, with Mega Rayquaza serving as its headlining Pokémon.
