Code Geass Finally Brings Back a Rare Lelouch Collectible After 20 Years

Debuting 20 years ago, Code Geass has become one of the biggest and most recognizable mecha anime franchises of the 2000s. Now, as part of major anniversary celebrations, a beloved collectible is being made available once again.

“Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection Precious G.E.M. Series Zero” is a highly detailed, collector-oriented figurine of the franchise’s initial protagonist, re-released years after first being sold. Featuring Lelouch’s alter ego in all his enigmatic glory, it comes amid the release and re-release of several other Code Geass products. Featuring new packaging and a special edition booklet, it’s the perfect way to cap off 20 years of Lelouch and the titular franchise.

Zero Returns in the Newest Code Geass Anniversary Re-Release

The Code Geass: Lelouch the Re;surrection Precious G.E.M. Series Zero figurine by MEGAHOUSE was originally released in 2019, with this being 13 years after the anime itself came out. Now, the brand is celebrating 20 years of existence, and there’s no better way to do so than with the character that started it all. Zero is the alter ego of anime protagonist Lelouch Lamperouge, who gains the ability to control others through the use of “geass.”

This particular figurine was sculpted by Imai Yuu and painted by TC, with the general design’s development supervised by character designer Takahiro Kimura. It has his slender form walking forward with his hand stretched out (seemingly to activate his geass power), with his cape and coattails flapping in the wind. The colors and folds are vibrantly brought to life, giving even the static figurine an anime-accurate feel.

Along with his masked/helmet-wearing head in the guise of “Zero,” there are also multiple alternate heads for the figurine. These include a normal Lelouch head and two geass faces (one using the power in one eye and the other one using it in both). There’s even an interchangeable arm part that allows him to hold the masked head as a separate helmet.

Made from plastic and coming in at almost 10″ in height, the figurine was originally sold to coincide with the Code Geass: Lelouch the Re;surrection anime movie. This was the sequel to an anime movie compilation retelling of the TV anime, though these films represent a separate continuity. It can now be pre-ordered from websites such as Big Bad Toystore for $167.99 USD, though it won’t be released until around February 2027.
