Netflix has confirmed that Delicious in Dungeon Season 2 will officially premiere in October 2027, after more than two years. The announcement was made during Anime Expo 2026, with production handled by Studio Trigger and distribution exclusively through Netflix. A Studio Trigger Panel established clear expectations for global distribution of the hit fantasy series, marking the return of one of Netflix’s most popular anime.

Season 2 of Delicious in Dungeon will continue its adaptation of the source material, Ryoko Kui’s manga, after the first season concluded in 2024. Although additional details have yet to be revealed, the October 2027 release window confirms that the fantasy series is set to return after its lengthy break.
