PC users on the Epic Games Store can currently claim the 4-player co-op horror game Together After Dark for free. The limited-time offer is special because it is not part of the Epic Games Store‘s regular weekly free game lineup, and it is essentially a nice surprise for fans of freebies.
July has turned out to be a much better month for free games on the EGS, as it started with two extra giveaways from generous developers. Right now, Epic Games Store users can claim NoRush! – Tower Edition for free until July 20. It’s a casual runner with cute visuals. They can also grab the open-world survival game KeepUp Survival, which is available at a 100% discount until July 19. Now, fans have a third developer-created giveaway to enjoy, serving as the cherry on top.
Together After Dark Is Free on the Epic Games Store Right Now
According to developer RedForge, anyone who claims Together After Dark before July 27 at 2:02 AM can keep it forever. The game normally costs $2.99 on both the Epic Games Store and Steam. As for the gameplay, it’s a found footage-style co-op horror game where everything is seen through the lens of a camcorder. Four players must explore an eerie forest filled with terrifying creatures and find a way to escape “without being seen.”

Like many other horror-themed walking simulator games, Together After Dark doesn’t provide players with strict instructions or waypoints. Instead, it relies primarily on environmental clues. However, the experience is mostly linear, as exploration generally leads players down the same path and through the same sequence of events. Even so, Together After Dark can still catch players off guard with unexpected encounters and plenty of spine-chilling moments. That said, it may not be as replayable as some similar titles, though that’s hardly a major drawback when it costs nothing to claim.
Fans might be interested to know that Together After Dark was developed by a solo creator and released in January 2025. In April 2026, RedForge announced that the game’s final update had been released and that development had shifted to a new project. In other words, the current version of Together After Dark is its final and most polished release. That doesn’t mean it’s free of bugs and glitches, though. Like many indie PC games, Together After Dark still has occasional performance issues, and its average user review score on Steam is currently Mixed.
On the official side, the Epic Games Store is currently giving away two management games, Nova Lands and Tattoo Tycoon. Both are available to claim until July 16. Once those promotions end, PC users will be able to add two more games to their libraries for free: Echo Generations: Midnight Edition and Luto. Those giveaways will remain available until July 23.
