First New Sailor Moon Design in 3 Years Confirms Exclusive SDCC Release

All that glitters is pink, as Sailor Moon fans finally have a brand-new convention exclusive to look forward to. FiGPiN has officially confirmed that the first new full-sized Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon pin design in nearly three years will debut exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con 2026.

After months of speculation from collectors, FiGPiN has announced that an exclusive Super Sailor Chibi Moon pin will headline its Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon offerings at SDCC 2026.

The final artwork, featuring Super Sailor Chibi Moon in her ’90s anime form, was only recently revealed, with the company confirming that the pin will be limited to just 500 pieces and sold exclusively at Booth #403 throughout the convention, while supplies last.

The SDCC exclusive follows another brand-new Chibiusa appearance unveiled just weeks earlier. In celebration of Chibiusa and Usagi Tsukino’s shared June 30 birthday, the official Sailor Moon account released a new illustration by series creator Naoko Takeuchi featuring Chibiusa alongside Chibi Chibi. The artwork gave both characters updated looks while celebrating their close connections to Sailor Moon’s future.

The new SDCC release marks FiGPiN’s first brand-new full-sized Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon design since the Sailor Moon Winter 2023 FiGPiN release, making it one of the franchise’s most significant convention collectibles in years.

Alongside the Super Sailor Chibi Moon pin, FiGPiN will also bring its upcoming Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Mystery Mini Series 02 to SDCC ahead of the enamel pin blind boxes’ wider retail launch later this year. Fans who spend $75 or more on SDCC exclusives at Booth #403 will also receive a free limited-edition FiGPiN logo pin, featuring glow-in-the-dark details, while supplies last.

The announcement follows another major collectible reveal for the franchise earlier this month. Tamashii Nations recently unveiled its upcoming Neo-Queen Serenity figure from the Figuarts ZERO chouette line, giving fans their first look at an all-new sculpt inspired by the original Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon manga.

The reveal continued what has already been an active year for Sailor Moon collectors, with several premium figures and international releases announced throughout 2026.

The Super Sailor Chibi Moon FiGPiN will make its debut during San Diego Comic-Con 2026, which runs from July 23 through July 26 at the San Diego Convention Center. Additional details, including the pin’s official artwork and retail price, are expected to be announced before the convention begins.
