Transformers Revives Ironhide’s Original Movie Design After Nearly 20 Years

Nearly 20 years ago, the Transformers franchise was forever changed with the release of its first live-action movie. This film saw many iconic Autobots and Decepticons radically redesigned for the big screen, and one of these is now receiving a high-end collector’s kit.

AMK PRO Transformers 2007 Ironhide is an upcoming release from Yolopark, and it perfectly recreates the Autobot’s design from the Bayverse movies. Featuring die-cast construction and LED lights, it has all the articulation and accessories needed to bring the movies’ scenes to life. This comes nearly 20 years after the film itself came out, all while the franchise is celebrating a similar cinematic birthday.

Ironhide Blasts Away as Yolopark’s Newest High-End Transformers Kit

As part of the AMK PRO series, Transformers 2007 Ironhide comes with several bells and whistles that accurately bring the movie design to life like never before.

The non-transforming kit stands at seven inches in height and is highly accurate to the complex mechanical workings of the designs seen in the live-action Transformers movies. Along with a die-cast skeleton for both durability and articulation, the kit has interchangeable hands and his signature arm-mounted cannons.

Not only do LED lights illuminate the head, but there’s even a movable jaw, adding more on-screen accuracy. The LEDs are magnet-activated, with a stand included to better support the figure during dynamic poses. These lights extend to the left and right cannons, which even illuminate in their own colors.

While it doesn’t transform, there are aspects homaging the vehicle mode, such as the license plate for the GMC Topkick C4500 Earth alternate mode. Other elements, such as the gold accents, give it a further luxurious finish. Meanwhile, the segmented plating creates a sense of industrial allure, matching Ironhide’s rough-and-tumble nature.

Fans can pre-order their kit via Yolopark’s official website for US$61.99, with the Autobot expected to ship out in August 2026. Buyers will also receive a special acrylic standee and character sticker for order through the site.

While 2007’s Transformers won’t celebrate 20 years of release until next year, 2026 marks the 40th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie, which famously killed off the original Generation 1 version of Ironhide.
