Good Smile Company has announced that the popular My Hero Academia Heroes vs. Villains Nendoroid boxset is finally back in stock, but fans wanting to snag this adorable collection will want to act fast. Ending serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2024, the My Hero Academia anime series also came to a close with a bonus special on May 2, 2026, though fans aren’t keen on letting the franchise go so easily. Unique merchandise and crossovers continue to pop up, and eager fans continue to bring their favorite characters home, as Kouhei Horikoshi’s magnum opus remains one of the most beloved anime series around the world.
The continued global popularity of My Hero Academia marks an incredible phenomenon, with Horikoshi’s manga series selling over 100 million copies, putting it on par with other heavy hitters like Hunter x Hunter, Fist of the North Star, and Astro Boy. Its anime adaptation was recently awarded the Guinness World Record for most in-demand animated TV show in the world, and the series has won several other accolades, including Best Manga at the 31st Harvey Awards in 2019. One of the largest reasons for My Hero Academia‘s success is its cast of characters, and this coveted release is one that diehard fans shouldn’t let slip through their fingers.

My Hero Academia Heroes vs. Villains Nendoroid Boxset Back in Stock
Good Smile Company recently took to social media to announce that the My Hero Academia Heroes vs. Villains Nendoroid collection is getting a rerelease, with preorders open now. Those not wanting to risk their luck on these blind boxes can snag all available characters by purchasing the boxset, which retails for $107.99. Buyers are guaranteed to snag Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi, and Himiko Toga. However, as there are 18 different surprise parts, the combination of character figures and surprise parts is random, and not all surprise parts can be collected in a single box set. Each Nendoroid stands approximately 2.76 inches in height, and preorders will close on July 22.
A slew of special events are taking place throughout 2026 to celebrate the series’ 10th anniversary, and a new My Hero Academia anime episode is scheduled to release on August 3. Titled “I Am a Hero Too,” the episode will adapt a manga chapter found in My Hero Academia: Ultra Age: The Final Fan Book, which shows an older Eri visiting U.A. High School. Additionally, the Toho Animation YouTube channel is currently hosting early episodes of My Hero Academia for free as part of the ongoing celebration.
Fans of the My Hero Academia prequel spin-off, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, are in luck, as a Blu-ray release is scheduled for Fall 2026. This will include 13 episodes from Season 1, as well as music videos, promo videos, and more bonuses for fans to enjoy. Vigilantes takes place five years before the events of the main series and follows Koichi Haimawari, a man who uses his Quirk to help others despite not being a licensed Hero. After being attacked, Koichi and street performer Kazuho Haneyama are saved by the vigilante Knuckleduster, who teaches the pair his ways. Season 2 of the spin-off concluded in March 2026.

Fans in the US are also gearing up for the My Hero Academia concert tour slated to take place later in 2026. From September 12 to October 23, the event will travel to 30 locations in the United States, featuring a 15-piece live band. Attendees can expect to hear tracks from the entire series, and the most memorable moments will be shown on a huge screen behind the performers.
