Brand New Day’ Trailer Officially Reveals Savage Hulk, Scorpion & More

Five long years after Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are inching closer to their return to the MCU with the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day next month. This sequel will show Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in unfamiliar territory after Doctor Strange’s spell forced the world to forget Peter Parker’s existence, allowing him to anonymously protect the Big Apple as its friendly neighborhood hero. This time around, he will have a host of new enemies to take care of across the city, including Scorpion (Michael Mando) and an unknown supernatural force that appears to be even more dangerous.

Marvel and Sony kicked off Brand New Day‘s marketing tour with a first trailer in March, showing Holland’s return to the role alongside Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds and Zendaya as Michelle Jones. That trailer shattered records upon its debut, becoming the most-watched trailer in its first 24 hours with over 718 million views. Considering the first preview came just over four months ahead of the movie’s release date, many were eager to see what Sony would deliver in the second trailer for this highly anticipated fourth Spidey solo film, which has now been made public.

Sony Pictures officially released the second full trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The trailer shows thrilling new footage from the MCU’s fourth Spider-Man movie, teasing more of the story for Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/Hulk, and the rest of the A-list cast. The new trailer arrives just over six weeks ahead of Brand New Day‘s release date, coinciding with the official start of ticket sales for the MCU’s 38th movie.

This trailer dives much further into the mysterious evolution Peter Parker goes through, which gives him organic webbing and sometimes turns his eyes completely black. As Peter states that he feels like he is losing control, he goes to Bruce Banner for help in figuring out what’s happening to him, all while going against multiple major villains. The trailer also included new footage of Michael Mando’s Scorpion laying a smackdown on Spidey, showed more of The Hand, and reintroduced the savage version of the Hulk that has been missing from the MCU since 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War. Most importantly, story details tease Peter being immune to the unrevealed entity invading everyone’s brains, setting up an intriguing mystery.

Still notably absent from this new trailer was Sadie Sink’s yet-to-be-revealed character, who many have theorized could potentially be the MCU’s Jean Grey. Even with that mystery and so many others in play, this trailer should only ramp up the hype even further for what Peter Parker will have to go through in his fourth MCU solo adventure.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will debut in theaters on Jul. 31, 2026.
