After its launch during CES 2026, Withings has announced its range-topping BodyScan 2 smart scale is available to buy in the US.

It continues the brand’s complete overhaul of its smart scale range for 2026, and follows the Withings BodyFit scale which arrived in June.

The Withings BodyScan 2 represents a significant investment at almost $600, but it certainly packs in plenty of features for this price.

At the top of the list are two ‘scans,’ one for daily information, and the other a Longevity Scan designed to be used each week.

The Daily Scan takes 30 seconds and returns data on weight, body composition, visceral fat, heart rate, and vascular age, all with additional trend data.

The Longevity Scan adds an electrocardiogram (ECG) reading, blood oxygen levels, a nerve response score, and a heart age estimate. It takes 90 seconds.

Eric Carreel, Chairman and Withings co-founder, said:

BodyScan 2 provides a comprehensive assessment of cardiovascular and metabolic health. Our goal is simple: help people and their physicians move from reactive healthcare to truly preventive care, enabling earlier intervention, better health decisions, and ultimately extending healthy years of life for millions.

Like the BodyFit, the BodyScan 2 is useful for people using GLP-1 treatments, and also adds in a Glucose Resilience score for those wanting to better understand how lifestyle affects glucose levels. The software for this is FDA approved.

Elsewhere, you can find blood pressure insights, blood oxygen levels and trends, and bone mass trends to help those over 50 identify signs of osteoporosis.

The BodyScan 2 smart scale provides data to help build a picture of how your body changes ‘mechanically, metabolically, and vascularly,’ over time.

What about the hardware?

The Withings BodyScan 2 has a tempered glass surface with eight embedded electrodes, and another four stainless steel electrodes in the retractable handle.

While the BodyFit scale’s screen is on the scale itself, the BodyScan 2 moves the color HD screen to the handle, making it easier to see the data.

The rechargeable battery will operate the BodyScan 2 for around 15 months on a single charge, so it won’t become another device to charge each day or week.

Withings offers its optional Withings+ subscription service with the BodyScan 2. It provides more advanced healths scores and the Heart Age and Glucose Resilience metrics, plus deeper trend analysis and an AI Health Assistant. It costs $10 per month or $100 per year.

The Withings BodyScan 2 costs $600 and is available from Withings’ own online store in the US from July 15.
