Fans are finally almost done waiting for the chance to watch Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle from the comfort of their own homes.
As noted by the official Demon Slayer website, viewers can now pre-order their very own digital copies of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle on multiple platforms. Both the English-subtitled and dubbed versions of the film are currently available for pre-order via Fandango and Prime Video and are slated for release on July 28.
The Wait for Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’s Digital Release Is Nearly Over
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle will also be available to purchase through Google Play and YouTube on July 28, although the film is not currently available for pre-order on either platform. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle is available for pre-order on the Apple TV Store; however, it will be available on July 29.
Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle arrived in theaters in Japan in July 2025 before sweeping the box office across the globe. The film picks up not long after the villainous Muzan Kibutsuji traps the Demon Slayer Corps within the eponymous Infinity Castle, setting up one of the most harrowing storylines the franchise has ever seen, one which was widely lauded and even garnered Anime of the Year at the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle ultimately ran in theaters for the better part of a year, during which time it grossed more than $793.5 million against a mere $20 million budget. This was more than enough for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle to break multiple records, including that of the highest-grossing international film in the United States, unseating Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon as the top film on the list after more than two decades.
Unfortunately for fans, the extended theatrical run of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle has meant that any digital and streaming releases have been repeatedly delayed to boost box office earnings. That being said, now that the wait is almost over, audiences will not only be able to revisit the film soon enough but also return to speculating about what the next two entries in the franchise will look like when they arrive.
Back in 2025, Crunchyroll president Rahul Purini noted that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle was set to be the first in a trilogy of films that would mark the end of the wider Demon Slayer anime series. “The trilogy movies are the final arc of the story and, for fans, if they want to finish it, they have to watch it,” Purini said at the time.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle will be available via Prime Video, Fandango, Google Play, and YouTube on July 28. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle will be available via Apple TV on July 29.
